About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Nurse to join our Kidz First research team. In this exciting role, you’ll be instrumental in the planning, development, and implementation of both pharmaceutical and investigator-led clinical trials across Kidz First Hospital and Community Services. This includes the recruitment and regular contact with study participants.
This is a 0.6 FTE permanent part-time role (24 hours per week), primarily Monday to Friday, offering flexibility and work-life balance while contributing to meaningful research.
Key Responsibilities;
- Support the development and coordination of clinical research trials
- Recruit and maintain regular contact with study participants and their whānau
- Apply your paediatric nursing expertise to deliver high-quality, research-based care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure study success and participant wellbeing
About you:
We are looking for a nurse who is passionate about paediatric care and committed to excellence in research. You will have:
- New Zealand Registered Nurse with a current practising certificate
- Minimum 3 years of post-registration paediatric nursing experience in NZ
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Previous experience in clinical research (highly desirable)
