About the role:
Occupational Health and Wellbeing (OHWB) provides specialised in-house clinical and advisory services to Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora - Counties Manukau District (CM) and is based at Middlemore Hospital.
We are currently seeking Registered Nurses preferably Authorised Vaccinator’s, to deliver our staff influenza vaccination programme (April – May 2026). For the right candidate who may not be an Authorised Vaccinator, alternative arrangements could be made working under a standing order. A training session will be provided.
The programme involves providing static and mobile vaccination clinics throughout CM workplaces. You will have a friendly customer-service approach, a high standard of vaccination practice and sound clinical documentation skills. It is expected that you will be fully vaccinated against the diseases which you may be exposed to in your role as an Influenza Vaccinator.
These are temporary positions required to provide programme coverage. Schedules include early start times for morning coverage. Part-time hours may be accommodated. Successful candidates new to CM will also be required to attend an orientation session in April. We would also consider new graduates who would be interested in being part of this programme.
Salaries are based on the NZNO Collective Agreement Registered Nurse Scale.

Essential requirements
- Registered Nurse with current NCNZ Annual Practising Certificate
- Full and clean NZ Drivers licence
- Excellent communication and professionalism
Desired:
- Current Authorised Vaccinator certificate
- Experience with the delivery of workplace vaccination programmes
