We continue to work with others to achieve equity in key health indicators for Maaori, Pacific and communities with health disparities and will continue to develop and implement plans, based on local needs to improve the health and wellbeing of Counties Manukau region. Our main sites are Middlemore Hospital, Kidz First Hospital and Manukau Health Park.
We are part of Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora, the overarching organisation for New Zealand’s national health service. HNZ leads the day-to-day running of the health system, with functions delivered at local, district, regional and national levels.
The Opportunity:
Kidz First Neonatal Unit (NNU) provides intensive care (Level III) and Special Care (Level II) services and offers a seamless continuum of care to pre-term infants and their whaanau.
The unit works in a Partnership Model with parents and whaanau at the heart of care delivery by utilising the concepts of both Te Whare Tapa Wha and Fonofale models of practice. We endorse and support teaching in the unit that is evidence-based and are committed to the provision of professional development.
We are looking for a registered nurse with neonatal nursing experience to join our team!

Essential requirements:
- New Zealand Registered Nurse with current Annual Practicing Certificate
- Minimum of 1+ experience acute nursing experience in a large hospital setting in NZ, post registration
- Neonatal/Paediatric experience
- A commitment to professional development and willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
