About the role
Join our fast-paced and supportive Emergency Department team, where no two days are the same. We are looking for experienced Registered Nurses who thrive in a dynamic environment, enjoy working collaboratively within a large multidisciplinary team, and are passionate about delivering high-quality care to our diverse community.
Middlemore Emergency Department is one of the busiest in Australasia, we strive to deliver high-quality emergency and acute care for both adult and paediatric patients. If successful you will receive a comprehensive 4-week orientation and ongoing support from our education team.
About you
Required:
- Registered Nurse with current APC (New Zealand Nursing Council)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an acute New Zealand hospital setting
- Commitment to working within a multi-disciplinary team.
Preferred (but not essential):
- Previous Emergency Department experience (Paediatric or Adult).
- Competency in IV cannulation and phlebotomy.
- Confidence with electronic medical records.
We support ongoing professional development and will consider candidates who are passionate about ED nursing and keen to grow their skills in this area.
