About us:

Middlemore is one of the larger hospitals operated by Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora. With 14 operating theatres, 2 procedure rooms and remote anaesthetic sites, Middlemore provides services for a wide range of specialties including Obstetrics, Orthopaedics, General, Plastics, ORL. Middlemore is also a specialist hospital for Burns and Spinal surgery. Remote areas and 777 emergency calls add a bit more adventures to your days.

Manukau Health Park has 14 operating theatres and 2 procedure rooms. The site delivers our elective and acute arranged surgery.

The opportunity:

We are looking for a Registered Anaesthetic Technician, Anaesthesia and Pain, to join our hardworking, values focused team. Working across all sites undertaking a 24/7 roster, this is your opportunity to work with the best in both acute and elective area.

You will be challenged professionally with an interesting elective and acute workload that brings with its diverse clinical challenges. 

Consideration will be given to applicants looking to join our August New Graduate programme.

Essential:

  • Registered Anaesthetic Technician with a current NZ Annual Practising Certificate
  • Strong commitment to patient safety and quality care
  • Knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application to healthcare practice
