About the Role

Feedback Central plays a vital role in ensuring a consistent and transparent approach to managing feedback and adverse events across our organisation.

As a Quality Liaison Officer, you will facilitate and coordinate feedback processes, supporting services across the district to manage feedback effectively and compassionately. You will help transform insights from feedback into opportunities for learning and service improvement.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Analysing and interpreting patient and whaanau feedback
  • Drafting high-quality, thoughtful responses
  • Guiding services in the timely and effective management of complaints and adverse events
  • Reporting and Analysis of Feedback and Adverse Event Themes
  • Providing education and support to staff to strengthen feedback capability
  • Promoting best practice in feedback management within an increasingly digital environment

About You

You are an innovative, people-focused professional who thrives on collaboration and continuous improvement. You build strong relationships with patients, whaanau, and colleagues and have a passion for enhancing the quality of healthcare experiences.

You will ideally bring:

  • A tertiary qualification in health, quality, or a related field
  • Proven experience in quality improvement, problem solving, and report writing
  • Sound understanding of medico-legal and ethical responsibilities in healthcare
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills
