About the Role
This 12-month fixed term Fellow Position will provide clinical services to Kidz First Ambulatory Care in developmental and behavioural paediatrics. The clinics will include Developmental/Disability, multi- disciplinary developmental assessments, and possible Gateway assessments. It may include General Paediatrics clinics depending on the training needs of the successful applicant.
You will have opportunity to work alongside Kidz First Community Paediatricians in the provision of clinical advisory services to community-based health services such as Child Development and Home Care Nursing. This position also involves regular weekend shifts in the Acute Paediatric Medicine setting at Kidz First Children’s Hospital.

About you
· Advanced Trainee of the RACP who are registered with the SACs in Community Child Health or General Paediatrics & eligible for registration with the New Zealand Medical Council.
· Be a team player that can traverse across services and respectful of other disciplines
· Demonstrate effective communication styles, critical thinking and striving to improve health inequities
· A proven ability or competence in working with Maaori, Pacific and culturally diverse population is preferred
