Te Whatu Ora Counties Manukau has the highest birthing population of any district in New Zealand with 8195 women giving birth in the region during 2020 so there is wide variety of experience to be gained.
Counties Manukau offers a diverse range of opportunities; we have positions available in a variety of midwifery settings from midwifery lead birthing units, community midwifery teams right through to complex high risk midwifery settings. We offer extensive orientation to our services and actively support professional development.
Living in Counties Manukau provides a multitude of kiwi lifestyle opportunities. Beaches, rural living, native bush walks and yet still on the main trainline and within proximity to the central city.
