About the Role
We are looking for a friendly, organized Evening Ward Clerk to join our team at Middlemore Hospital. This is a part-time, 6-month fixed-term position working 6 hours daily, Monday to Friday, 4:00pm – 10:30pm.
In this role, you’ll be the vital link connecting medical, nursing, clerical, and clinical teams — plus engaging warmly with patients, their families, visitors, and general practitioners. Your excellent customer service and communication skills will shine as you keep the ward running smoothly and efficiently.
About You
You’re someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment. You bring:
- NCEA level qualification
- Proven customer service experience
- Intermediate computer skills (knowledge of iPMS/WiMS is a bonus but not essential)
- Strong attention to detail to maintain accurate patient records and ward readiness
