About the Role
As the Data and Application Specialist, you will be at the forefront of advancing clinical trials by ensuring the seamless operation of critical business applications, optimizing the use of data for Business Intelligence, and building and maintaining key stakeholder relationships. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring trials are conducted efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with regulatory requirements. The role is also responsible for implementing any hardware changes required to fulfil the business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Subject Matter Expertise: Develop and provide subject matter expertise in all software applications used by ACTT in its day-to-day business operations. Use knowledge to build application functions (e.g. eSource, CTMS, eDocs), develop and deliver training, and support end-users.
- Application Support: Manage and optimize clinical trial applications, including the CTMS, Learning and Quality Management System and Business Intelligence tools.
- Data Management: Maintain clinical trial databases, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security.
- Technical Expertise: Provide troubleshooting, training, and support for users, ensuring seamless application performance.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance workflows, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with clinical operations and the Senior Management Team to ensure data-driven decision-making and trial success.
About You
Essential:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience providing support to users of information systems or in an application support role.
- NZ resident.
- Experience working in NZ.
Desirable:
- Experience with Clinical Trial Management Systems.
- Knowledge of the NZ health system and their technology applications, previous experience of working with healthAlliance an advantage.
