We have a strong focus on providing acute short-term rehab within a community setting and in this position, you will enjoy a diverse range of clinical presentations helping you develop your knowledge and expertise, such as neurology, orthopaedics, older adults, musculoskeletal and respiratory conditions; two days are never the same! Our philosophy is to work holistically with our patients and whaanau to find innovative solutions. Professional development opportunities are proactively supported, and supervision is provided by experienced colleagues. We have the following positions available:

Fixed term, part time (0.8 FTE) - Eastern Locality (Feb 2026 – Sep 2026)

The successful applicant will be based in Botany, working predominantly within the Northern region, as part of the wider IDT to provide excellent delivery of care to our clinically and culturally diverse population within the community setting.

Fixed term, full time - Franklin Locality (Feb 2026 – June 2026)

The successful applicant will be working predominantly within the Southern region, as part of the wider IDT to provide excellent delivery of care to our clinically and culturally diverse population within the in-patient and community setting.

Essential: 

  • Registration or eligibility to be registered with the NZ Physiotherapy Board with current Annual Practising Certificate
  • A current full clean driver's licence
