About the Role
We’re seeking a passionate Visiting Neurodevelopmental Therapist to join our dynamic, child‑centred team. This is a role for someone who believes in early intervention, celebrates neurodiversity, and loves meeting children where they are at.
You’ll work with children aged 0–2½ years using a transdisciplinary, holistic approach, supporting tamariki with a wide range of developmental and neurodevelopmental needs, including:
- Pre‑term babies with additional developmental needs
- Cerebral palsy
- Global developmental delay
- Spinal Muscular atrophy
- Genetic disorders
- Spina bifida
- Other neurodevelopmental diagnoses
What You’ll Do
- Provide neurodevelopmental assessments and tailored interventions within the home and clinic setting
- Support children with diverse developmental needs
- Orthotics and equipment prescription
- Empower families with practical strategies and compassionate guidance
- Collaborate with health professionals, the wider MDT team and support networks
- Bring creativity, curiosity, and heart to every visit
- Provide group therapy programmes

Essential Requirements
- New Zealand‑registered Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist with a current practising certificate
- Strong clinical knowledge in neurological rehabilitation (paediatric preferred)
- Understanding of disability, health, and available support services
- Excellent clinical reasoning, reflective practice, and problem‑solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Full, clean NZ driver’s licence
