The Opportunity:

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic dietitian to join our friendly, close knit and innovative Community Paediatric Dietetic team based at Kidz First Community Health in Manukau.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years experience working as a dietitian; preferably within the area of paediatrics. You will be self-motivated, thrive in a flexible and challenging environment, and possess excellent communication skills. You should be able to think creatively, manage your time efficiently, and enjoy working both independently and as part of a strong, quality-focused team. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to dietetic student training and participate in service development and project work.

We are committed to your growth and offer regular professional development opportunities, practice review, performance development planning, and ongoing professional supervision.

Essential:

  • BCapSc or BSc, and Post Grad Dip Diet or MSc Dietetics (or equivalent as recognised by the NZ Dietitians Board)
  • NZRD with current annual practicing certificate
  • An ability to relate and communicate clearly on difficult and complex matters with a range of healthcare professionals, patients, and dietetic colleagues
  • Cultural awareness and understanding
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Full drivers licence
