About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Clinical Quality and Risk Manager to lead quality initiatives, risk management, and key projects within our Women’s Health Division. In this pivotal role, you will translate strategic quality objectives into actionable plans that drive continuous improvement and excellence in patient care.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading divisional quality assurance, providing expert advice, and managing feedback mechanisms including complaints, compliments, and adverse event reviews.
  • Coordinating governance processes, certification requirements, and audit schedules to ensure compliance and quality standards are met.
  • Overseeing the development, review, and control of essential clinical documents and policies.
  • Supporting the identification, assessment, and management of clinical risks.
  • Measuring and reporting performance against care standards, KPIs, and clinical indicators to drive service improvement.
  • Championing quality improvement projects and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Partnering with stakeholders to uphold our values through high-quality, patient-centered care.

About you:

You bring a strong clinical or health management background with:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in health or related field.
  • At least 5 years post-qualification experience in clinical practice or health management.
  • Proven ability to foster a culture of innovation, accountability, transparency, and customer-focused service.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering sustainable system and process improvements within complex healthcare settings.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills to influence and inspire teams across the continuum of care.

You will work within a dynamic multidisciplinary environment, contributing to meaningful improvements in health outcomes for women and whānau across our community.
