Are you the Clinical Leader we’re looking for? Do you want to work as part of the Mental Health & Addictions team and make a difference at Te Whatu Ora Counties Manukau.
Te Whatu Ora Counties Manukau is committed to improving the health equity outcomes and experience for our community, and a key part of achieving this is by supporting the mental wellbeing of our large and diverse population. The Clinical Leader Child and Adolescent Mental Health – Integrated Care is a key senior leadership role which is pivotal for the continued advancement of Mental Health at Counties Manukau in collaboration with other senior MH Management, Cultural and Clinical leadership.

As the Clinical Leader you will;

  • Work with the Mental Health & Addiction Leadership team to support the transformation of the current system of care through effective integration across community, primary care, specialist mental health & addiction and NGO provision.
  • Support the development of pathways for easy and appropriate access to specialist support for non-acute care for children and young people.
  • Work with Primary Care and government agencies to build strong relationships and develop effective systems and process to enhance the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people accessing services.
  • Providing clinical expertise, strategic advice and leadership to the Clinical Director and General Manager MH&A in formulating the strategic development of Integrated Mental Health services.

You will need to be a registered Consultant Psychiatrist with extensive knowledge of cultural values along with skills and demonstrated ability in the development and management of staff.  A full & clean driver’s licence.
