Administration Clerk, Women's Health

About the Role

In this pivotal role, you will help drive smooth and efficient outpatient clinic operations by:
- Proactively coordinating and booking patient appointments in a timely, clinically appropriate manner
- Maintaining accurate patient records and managing appointment waitlists with precision
- Ensuring information is consistently up to date in iPM
- Communicating clearly and professionally with patients via phone and written correspondence
- Monitoring the quality of reports and taking initiative to resolve issues before they escalate
About You
You’re not just organised, you’re an anticipator. You see what needs to happen next and make it happen. You bring a calm, professional presence to a busy environment and take pride in delivering exceptional service.
To excel in this role, you will have:
- At least 2 years’ experience in a customer-focused administrative role within healthcare
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational abilities and excellent time management
- Fluency in an additional language, particularly Te Reo Māori or a Pacific language will be considered a valuable asset
- Proficiency in iPM, clinical portal systems, and ideally MCIS
