Te Whatu Ora - Counties Manukau District in South Auckland, New Zealand is a dynamic and progressive organisation at the forefront of innovative health care delivery within the New Zealand Public Health Sector. Our clinical services are located on two sites. Our main hospital is Middlemore Hospital based in Otahuhu, whilst our outpatient and day surgery centre is located in Manukau, a short distance from our main site. Middlemore Hospital is also home to the National Spinal and Burns centre, a tertiary centre for Orthopaedics, and a major trauma hospital, which gives exposure to a wide range of pathology imaging.

 

We are currently seeking applications from new graduate Medical Radiation Technologists (MRTs). We currently have permanent and fixed term positions available. To meet the demands of our service, we are seeking MRTs who are passionate, dedicated to their career and keen to further develop their skills. We are a large teaching organisation, offering a very supportive learning environment, encouraging continual professional development and education.

 

Our Radiology department is large and diverse with state of the art medical imaging equipment that includes:

• 14 General x-ray rooms, most with DR

• Two dedicated Angiography suites

• A theatre service with a variety of equipment

• Four CT scanners performing acute and elective CT scans including Cardiac CT

• 2 x 3T and 1 x 1.5T MRI scanner
