Are you looking for a new and exciting challenge? 
 
We are looking for a Staff Grade Physiotherapist to work in our rehabilitation team at North Shore Hospital based across the Assessment, Treatment, and Rehabilitation (AT&R) and Integrated Stroke Unit (ISU) wards.
 
This is a full time (1.0 FTE) physiotherapy role working on our Older Adult AT&R and ISU wards. You will be working as part of an established inter-disciplinary team providing best practice rehabilitation through a patient centred approach to older adults. The work covers an array of conditions including patients with orthopaedic, neurological, and general medical conditions who require rehabilitation and often also have complex social and discharge planning needs. Te Whatu Ora – Waitematā is leading the way in the Northland region in digital innovation with electronic patient notes, e-prescribing and e-vitals and have strong links with our community and outpatient services.

Key requirements for this role: (see link to PD below for full details)
  • New Zealand registered Physiotherapist
  • 2+ years of recent inpatient experience
  • Ability to lead, support and mentor / supervise junior staff 
  • Experience with student supervision
  • Strong clinical assessment skills, great communication and fast thinking

  • Salary range: $77,087 - $116,390 (step 1-10, step placement is based on clinical experience)
