We meet client needs through an interdisciplinary approach using allied health and nursing professionals.

We are looking for a Social Worker to join our team based at the Manukau Locality. In this influential position you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clinical presentations. Your skill base will be broad and holistic with problem solving as a key strength. You'll be solving real life challenges on a daily basis, changing for the better the lives of many in our community. Ideally you will be well versed with what the community has to offer our clients. You will have the support of the interdisciplinary team and access to ongoing professional development and supervision provided by senior colleagues.

Our main hours of service are Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm, however we have the ability to offer flexibility in hours. This service operates over 7 days per week and how this may work for you as an individual can be discussed in more detail at interview stage.

• NZ Social Worker registration through SWRB, as well as a current practising certificate

• 2+ years experience in a hospital and /or community settings

• Well-developed communication and team work skills

• Solution focussed and a passion for improving health outcomes

• Ability to work autonomously

• Full clean NZ driver’s license
