About the role 

We have a new and exciting opportunity for a full stack .NET Developer to join us. Candidates will need to be passionate about delivering building high quality, scalable, secure, and robust applications. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, deployment and maintenance of applications that are used by clinicians to provide high quality healthcare to the population they serve and support the interoperability between clinical systems.

Focusing on a great user experience, you will be responsible for developing high-quality, leading-edge web applications in a collaborative work environment using agile development practices and technologies; providing a fantastic opportunity to showcase your technical expertise and creative problem-solving skills.

About you 

You will be a Senior Web Developer with experience working with complex software projects. You are highly motivated and enjoy finding areas to improve software solutions and deliver beyond expectations. You have an analytical mind and can identify potential issues and solutions to them.

You will have a passion for writing clean, maintainable, efficient and secure code using appropriate object-oriented design principles and design patterns.

You will have direct development experience (including post go-live support and ongoing maintenance etc) with the following tech stack: 

  • Comprehensive understanding of C#, MVC, REST Web Services, .NET, PowerShell, SQL
  • Extensive experience with user interface technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, Typescript and MVC Razor
  • Thorough grasp of Database Technologies including Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL
  • Experience deploying web applications Windows server (IIS) on-premises and in the cloud
  • Experienced with the following tooling GIT, CI/CD Pipelines using Azure DevOps
  • Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills

We have a full-time permanent position available working 40 hours Monday to Friday. This role is based at Middlemore Hospital and the train stops outside our front door!
