 Transplant Nursing – Join a team where miracles happen!

Ward 71 is an inpatient ward, which provides care for renal medical, hepatology, renal and liver transplant patients. Playing a key role in the multidisciplinary team you will be joining nursing staff skilled in both Medical and Surgical nursing, who understand that fostering a caring and supportive environment is incredibly important to their patients, giving them the best opportunity at recovery.

This is your chance to further develop your surgical and medical nursing practice.

If successful, you will be working within a supportive team environment. On-going education is facilitated by our experienced nurse educators.

This is a permanent position based at Auckland City Hospital, working fully rostered shifts, Monday – Sunday.

 Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills

 As the ideal candidate for this role, you will:

  • Be a registered nurse holding a Annual Practicing certificate.
  • Have NZ nursing experience for atleast 1 year preferably Surgical.
  • Have a strong commitment to quality healthcare
  • Be capable of working flexibly both independently and within a team
  • Have well-developed communication and critical thinking skills
