Are you a passionate and experienced Registered Nurse looking to make a positive impact on the next generation of healthcare professionals? We are seeking a dynamic Registered Nurse Clinical Coach to join our team! As a key member, you will guide and mentor new graduate nurses in their clinical areas, fostering their growth and ensuring high-quality patient care.
The NETP team consists of Nurse Educators and Clinical Coaches who support New Graduate Nurses during their first year of clinical practice. We provide a Monday – Friday service.
The position of Clinical Coach involves actively engaging with new graduate nurses within clinical settings, delivering both formal and informal education through diverse methods. As a Clinical Coach, collaboration is key, as you work closely with members of the NETP team, service Nurse Educators, and other Clinical Coaches, along with Charge Nurse Managers. These roles provide a unique opportunity to contribute to the professional development of emerging nurses by combining hands-on clinical support with educational guidance. You will also need to have the following:
- Registered Nurse [RCpN, RGON, BHsC] with current annual practicing certificate in New Zealand
- Minimum of 4 years post registration experience across secondary health inpatient settings
- Contemporary nursing knowledge and skill in the acute care setting – with knowledge of evidence‑based practice requirements and a positive Nursing identity
