Project Managers - Energy Efficiency Projects, Northern Region

Are you an experienced Project Manager with engineering or infrastructure background? This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work collaboratively with stakeholders with Health New Zealand – Northern Region that includes the following districts

• Counties Manukau
• Te Toka Tumai Auckland
• Te Tai Tokerau Northland
• Waitemata. 

The Role:

In this role, you will be project managing bespoke engineering and energy efficiency projects to reduce Health New Zealand – Northern Region’s emissions. You will develop an understanding of Energy efficiency related project requirements from your involvement with feasibility study and business case developments.

The Project Manager leads, coordinates, monitors and reports on design and construction activities. The incumbent assists in administering consultant and construction agreements and facilitates quality control, maintenance of design and construction schedules and construction management of projects for which they are responsible.

This is a full time working Monday to Friday, 2 years fixed term role that is based in Auckland region (Middlemroe Hospital, North Shore Hospital or Auckland city Hospital) servicing the wider Auckland and Northland hospitals.

About You:

• Engineering or Project Management degree (i.e. Civil, Mechanical, Building Surveyor) or other
• 10 years related experience
• Project management experience
• Hard-working, innovative and takes pride in their work and enjoy working as part of a high performance team
• Self-starter with strong communication skills, able to work and communicate with a wide range of personnel
• Ability to work in a highly pressurised environment
