We have an opening for a Paediatric Physiotherapist who is passionate about working with children and their families and enjoys working within a dynamic team.
This is a great opportunity to be a part of a very experienced and highly skilled multi-disciplinary Community Child Health Service based close to North Shore Hospital. Our team is committed to providing excellent therapy services for children across Waitematā District. The work encompasses therapy services with disabled or developmentally delayed preschool children in their homes, early childhood facilities, or local community facilities with flexibility to also hold centre based clinics, groups and therapy sessions.
All aspects of our work are provided in partnership with families and community agencies involved in the care of the child, based on the child’s strengths and goals. There opportunity to join an acute respiratory physiotherapy on call roster for children in the Rangatira Unit, our children’s ward at Waitakere Hospital.
Our team is passionate about upholding the Waitematā vision of best care for everyone, and is offering this role with professional supervision, training and ongoing professional development opportunities. Experience in child development/child neurology is desirable. Our service is committed to innovative best practice and is looking for a likeminded person to join our team. A current driver's licence and current NZ Annual Practising Certificate is essential.
