Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity 

We have an exciting opportunity for a New Zealand Registered Experienced Physiotherapist to join our Allied Health Community Physiotherapy team. A progressive service which is committed to delivering care in a contemporary locality-based framework. This permanent, full-time role based at Greenlane Clinical Centre or Kahui Marino allows you the opportunity to be part of a comprehensive multi-disciplinary team with strong professional support to enable you to optimise both your profession’s specific practice and a community health focus  

 

Undertake a clinical caseload providing comprehensive and evidence-based care

Work alongside your wider Allied Health colleagues using an interdisciplinary model to deliver high quality and effective services

On the job training with continuous improvement and development opportunities including a well-established in-service training programme

The Community Allied Health Team is a large multidisciplinary service for adult clients who have physical health and disability needs and live in the Central Auckland region. We are a service within the Community and Long-Term Conditions Directorate within the Auckland catchment area.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills

 As the ideal person for this role you will have the following skills and attributes:

  • New Zealand registration as a Physiotherapist with a current Annual Practicing Certificate
  • 2+ years proven, post-graduate clinical experience
  • Clean, full New Zealand drivers’ licence
  • Excellent clinical reasoning skills and use of evidence-based practice
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a range of professional groups in a multidisciplinary bicultural environment
  • Effective time management, prioritisation and organisation skills
  • A flexible, pro-active approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The remuneration for this position is covered by a collective agreement (PSA Allied, Public Health Scientific Technical MECA)

Salary Range:  Step 1 $70,842 to Step 10 $109,000 depending on experience
