Orderlies facilitate the effective day-to-day operation of the hospital by maintaining consistent non-patient and patient transport standards and processes and delivering high levels of customer service at all times consistent with the vision and values of the Te Whatu Ora - Waitematā.

Candidates should have previous experience working as an orderly within a hospital environment but if you have the skills listed below you should apply:

The ideal applicants will have the following:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Technical Knowledge
  • Skills associated with the orderly role
  • Customer service skills

Successful applicants must be able to:

  • Demonstrate ability to access and use smart phone systems.
  • Deliver compassionate service to patients and whānau that is aligned to Policies and Guidelines set by Te Whatu Ora- Waitematā and Mana Whenua
  • Always maintains professional presentation
  • Be physically fit

Please note if you are successful you must complete the NZQA Level 3 Orderly qualification.
