Location: Ward 11, Orthopaedic Department, Middlemore Hospital
Position: Health Care Assistant (Part-time 0.6FTE Rostered Shifts)
Shifts: Monday – Sunday
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Health Care Assistants to join our busy, nationally recognised Orthopaedic Ward. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment, providing exceptional care to patients in an acute and elective setting.
About Ward 11:
- 29 bedded ward with state-of-the-art facilities
- A renowned department managing complex Orthopaedic cases
- A supportive team environment, committed to high-quality patient care
As a Health Care Assistant, you will work closely with our Registered Nurses (RNs), ensuring the highest standard of care for patients and their whaanau.
What we’re looking for:
- Health Care Assistant Level 4 Certificate
- At least 1 year of experience in a Health Care role within an acute NZ hospital setting (preferred)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A passion for delivering patient-focused care
