There is an exciting opportunity for you to join HealthSource in our Supply Chain Team as a Distribution Coordinator for our mailroom at Auckland Hospital
About the role
You will play a vital role delivering what our hospitals need to remain efficient and effective.
To provide mail distribution service to all customers both external and internal, that will be responsive, efficient and timely in Auckland Hospital and Greenlane Clinical Centre. To communicate with customers and fellow staff members regarding all aspects of service provision, maintenance and ongoing improvement of the mailroom services, systems and processes.
About you
Qualification(s):
- 3 years secondary education
Experience:
- Basic understanding of electronic processing of products (eg barcode scanning)
Capabilities:
- An ability and willingness to learn protocols and best practice procedures appropriate to the handling and/or supply of sterile stock
- An ability and willingness to learn products and supplies pertinent to the health environment
- Ability and willingness to learn how to operate a forklift
- Ability and willingness to learn about the handling of dangerous goods
