Customer Service Representative- Call Centre

- Based in Takapuna or NorthWest, with flexibility to work from home once trained
- Fixed-term until 27th July 2025, 16 hours a week

About Us
BreastScreen Waitematā Northland is part of Health New Zealand’s free national BreastScreen Aotearoa Programme. We provide screening mammograms to over 45,000 women each year to detect breast cancer early when it can be more easily treated. We pride ourselves on consistently delivering a positive experience for our clients.
About the role
We are seeking a team player with excellent people skills to join our Customer Service Team. This role is vital in providing a friendly and welcoming first point of contact for our clients and their whānau. The role involves providing a range of administrative services including inbound calling, outbound calling and data administration.
About You
The successful applicant will have:
- 1-3 years experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in a Call Centre environment
- 1 year or more experience working in a health setting
- Tact, sensitivity and diplomacy to deal with emotionally demanding situations and stressed clients
- Excellent attention to detail
- Familiarity and competency with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
If you are fluent in either Te Reo Māori, a Pacific or an Asian language this would be an advantage.
