    We are in search of an experienced and qualified Consultant Psychiatrist to join the clinical and cultural team at Lotofale - Pacific Mental Health Services.

    Te Toka Tumai Auckland has implemented a clinical leadership model placing clinical service leaders at the forefront of service and strategic decision-making. Our objective is to ensure accountability is closely tied to our service users, emphasizing clinical, cultural, quality, safety, and health outcomes while maintaining economic sustainability.

    Operating within the Auckland metropolitan area, Lotofale services strive to deliver high-quality mental health care to Pasifika individuals and their families. Our team consists of both Pasifika and non-Pasifika professionals, including clinicians, cultural support workers, and matua’s, who are dedicated to supporting Pasifika people and their communities along their path to recovery.

    Lotofale is committed to our Pasifika communities, focusing on holistic healing through a family-centered approach to care. We address cultural, spiritual, physical, and mental dimensions to achieve the highest standards of cultural-clinical care and improve health outcomes.

    Please note that this role involves participation in the adult mental health Consultant on-call roster.

    Key Skills Required

    Candidates must be vocationally registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand, holding a current Annual Practising Certificate or eligibility for one. A Post Graduate qualification in Psychiatry is preferred.
