We are Te Whatu Ora Te Toka Tumai Auckland. We provide health and disability services to more than half a million people living in central Auckland, regional services for Northland and greater Auckland, and specialist national services for the whole of New Zealand. Our main sites are Auckland City Hospital, Greenlane Clinical Centre and Starship Children’s Hospital, located in central Auckland.

Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Clinical Transcriptionist to join our Anatomical Pathology team at LabPlus. This position involves Transcription for Anatomical Pathology reporting and also some other administration tasks for the service. This role is based at Auckland City Hospital working Monday to Friday.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills

  • Fast (minimum of 60wpm) and accurate touch-typing skills
  • Winscribe experience
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Attention to detail, initiative and organisation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to take on a variety of duties as required
  • High level of computer knowledge
  • Previous typist experience
