  •   Seeking clinical team members to join our team at Hapai Ora ( Early Intervention Services ).
  •  We welcome applications from experienced registered  Mental Health Nurses, Social Workers and Occupational Therapists. 
  • Monday to Friday, we have permanent positions available with flexibility for part time or full time (40 hours per week). 

Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity

Exciting opportunity to join the leadership team at Hāpai Ora, a well-established Early Psychosis service based in Epsom, Auckland.  

Hāpai Ora, the early psychosis intervention team of Te Toka Tumai (ADHB) offers an innovative and youth friendly service to tāngata whai i te ora up to age 30, that are experiencing a first episode of psychosis.  

At a time when a rangatahi (young person) feels most vulnerable, the Hāpai Ora team works together to support our rangatahi and their whānau through their journey in moving forward with their lives.

 Our team is made up of experienced mental health professionals including Specialist Psychiatrists, Clinical Psychologists, Social Workers, Mental Health Nurses and Occupational Therapists as well as Cultural Advisors (Maori/Pacifica) , Peer and Rainbow Community Support Specialists and an Employment Consultant imbedded within the team

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills

The successful applicant will bring flexibility, excellent communication and interpersonal skills to the team. They will have a strong commitment to a multi-disciplinary team approach having previously worked within the CAMHS sector with adolescents and their families or within Adult Mental Health Services.

Hapai Ora has a commitment to providing evidence based treatment so a familiarity with Early Intervention Treatment would be an advantage – training through online modules by Orygen.org (Melbourne, Australia) provided and supported.

You will be currently registered with your appropriate Registration Board and have a current APC. We also require candidates to have a full-NZ drivers licence as this is a community focused role.
