This is an advanced nursing practice role, providing specialist nursing care and expertise in direct care for the management of inflammatory bowel disease. You will also provide consultancy across all clinical settings using advanced nursing practice expertise for patients with complex Inflammatory Bowel Disease as well as service which incorporates health crisis prevention, health promotion and early intervention of inflammatory bowel disease

As the successful candidate you will have the ability to effectively share clinical knowledge with others and be a good communicator.

To be considered for the position, the following is required:

  • Registered with Nursing Council of New Zealand
  • Post Graduate Certificate/ Diploma in specialty nursing practice essential. Must include advanced assessment and diagnostic reasoning skills.
  • Minimum 5 years post registration nursing experience
  • Achieved RN Level 4 or equivalent with current portfolio
