We have a full time, fixed term position available in our Taunaki (Child & Adolescent Mental health Services) team based at 492 Great South Road, Otahuhu, working Monday – Friday. We are seeking a Social Worker who is self-motivated and confident in their ability to communicate effectively with a range of other specialist colleagues, including general practitioners and practice nurses.
The advanced clinician role is a designated role that utilises knowledge, clinical expertise and competencies to coordinate, deliver and support professional services in one or more specialist area’s the role provides specialist consultation and advice to service users and other clinicians.
You will receive on-going support by your line manager and professional leader. There are opportunities for clinical supervision and professional development. Essential:
• NZ Registered Social Worker with a current Annual Practicing Certificate
• At least 6 years experience as a registered Social Worker in Mental Health
• Full, clean NZ driver’s licence
• Working towards a relevant Masters or higher qualification
